The end of 2017 marks 12 successful months since the Website Travel booking platform was introduced to the TAFE NSW Travel and Tourism study curriculum.
Website Travel was recently invited by TAFE Queensland to attend their 2017 Hospitality, Events and Tourism Industry Sector Panel. This is an annual event in which TAFE reaches out to members of the hospitality and tourism sector to share their opinions with staff and the curriculum board, on what today’s market are looking for in their future staff. Much of the discussions focused around technology and the need for students to be equipped with not only relevant soft skills in the hospitality and tourism sector, but experience and exposure to technologies and their application within small and large businesses.

“It was a great opportunity to have an open discussion with the staff who are training these Australians and introducing them to our industry. I do not envy the teachers who have to keep up to date with the rapidly developing software and simultaneously pass this knowledge on to students.
