Website Travel announce the release of 3 very exciting API’s for TDMS 2.0 (Travel Desk Management System)
Virgin Australia – Agents can now book Virgin flights via the TDMS, improving agent’s offerings & earning capacity. Website Travel continues to work with other key airlines and to extend booking capability to agents.
Upgraded Greyhound Integration & Premier Motor Service – Agents can now access Greyhound & Premier landing pages through our system. All availability and rates are easily accessed and once booked all information is automatically transferred to your TDMS; reflecting in reports and daily cash out.
These new developments will give our agents the ability to book our key partners with ease and efficiency, streamlining the booking process.
We absolutely love these new features. At the Byron visitors centre we book a very high volume of buses for our customers; speed and efficiency is extremely important to ensure we can quickly service our guests.
Jodie, General Manager – Byron Bay Visitors Centre
The new Travel Desk Management System was released in July 2014 and was rolled out to our agencies over 2 months. Such a massive undertaking is rarely without hurdles but we worked hard with our agents to ensure everyone transitioned with ultimate success.
Our Business Development Managers (Sarah Flynn, Narelle Clyde, Renee Brown, Jurone Sullivan) are working very closely with our agents to ensure the system is meeting their needs and facilitating new developments as popularly requested.
Website travel has an on going commitment to being our industry platform. We now have 2 teams of developers, one in NZ and one in Australia, totaling 16 full time staff. I would like to thank everyone for their patience and assistance throughout the roll out period. This was a daunting task and it was certainly all hands on deck. We are excited to have finished the roll out and we can now focus on innovation, which is the good stuff! We are well into the siteminder API now, following demand from the accommodation sector. This has been a very complex integration but once completed will broaden our capabilities to service the industry.
Matt McCourt – CEO
Website Travel will be releasing new innovations regularly and we look forward to updating you all via our Business Development team, website and System notifications; as well as Industry media.
